Lady Bison named to All County Team

Capping off a run to the State Tournament Semifinals, several Lady Bison were named to the Sumner County All County Team.

Emrie Springs was named Offensive MVP and Briley Hitt, Ayden Wood, Elle Lassiter, Mallorie Springs, and Linden Perry joined her on the first team.

Reagan Rose and Maddie Morris were named to the 2nd Team.

Abby Warchus, Morgan Stancil, Emma Darnell, Kennedy Dean, Laura Hendricks, Riley Lombardi, and Katelyn Preston received Honorable Mention for the All County Team.

Lady Bison are Going to STATE!

For the first time since 2008, the Station Camp Lady Bison are going to the State Tournament! The Lady Bison knocked off Independence 2-1 in the State Sectional to advance to the Tournament in Chattanooga. Briley Hitt lead off the scoring and Ayden Wood secured the win with a goal late in the 2nd half. Congratulations to Coach Jeremy Cooke and all the Lady Bison for this HUGE win!

Lady Bison Claim District and Region Championships!!

The 2022 Lady Bison team will certainly leave a mark on the record books at Station Camp. Winning both the District 9AAA Championship and the 5AAA Region Championship! Both games found the Bison facing cross-town rival Gallatin in hard fought games. Station Camp claimed the District Final with a 3-1 victory and the Region Final in a 1-0 battle!

Congratulations to Joey Bombrys, Landon Sarduy, Connor Maclean, and Ethan Schlegel for being named to the Main Street Preps 1st Team All Sumner County Team. Evan Gilmet was selected for the 2nd Team.

Connor Maclean was also named to The Tennessean All Midstate Soccer Team.

Southern Coast Cup

The Bison traveled to the beach for the annual clash in Foley, Alabama. The Bison advanced through the tournament to the finals with wins over Huntsville HS (AL) and top-ranked Christian Brothers HS (TN). Station Camp lost to Collierville in the Finals 2-1. Overall, it was a great weekend of soccer for the Bison!

Station Camp vs Wildcats x 2

The Bison faced the Wildcats twice in a week! First, the Bison traveled to Clarksville for a clash with the host Wildcats. Varsity notched a 5-1 victory on a cold, windy, and damp night.

Connor MacLean lead the scoring with 2 goals, Ethan Schlegel (1), Chaz Ballweber (1), and Landon Sarduy (1). Assists: Joey Bombrys (2), Landon Sarduy (1)

Next up were the Wildcats from Valor Collegiate Academy. The host Bison won both JV and Varsity matches in convincing fashion. JV won 6-1 and Varsity won 10-1.
Varsity scoring was lead by Connor MacLean with 4 goals and 3 assists on the night! Senior, Ethan Schlegel, had his own hat trick on the night as well.

SMOKY MOUNTAIN CUP

Both the Station Camp Bison Varsity and JV teams traveled east to Gatlinburg for the annual Smoky Mountain Cup. Facing teams from across the country, the varsity finished with a 1-1-1 record. JV finished with an 0-1-2 record for the weekend.

Station Camp Boys vs Hunters Lane

The Bison Boys’ Varsity and JV teams kicked off their preseason slate against Hunters Lane on Tuesday night at The Range. Both teams claimed wins over the visiting Warriors. JV won 3-1 in the early matchup.

The Varsity notched a shutout and a 9-0 victory with newcomer, Evan Gilmet, leading the goal scoring with 4 and, senior, Ethan Schlegel adding 3 assists and 2 goals on the night.
