DIVISION I AAA – REGION 5 – DISTRICT 9

Station Camp High School opened its doors for the first time in 2002. And, it didn’t take long for the Bison Soccer program to announce its presence in Sumner County and Middle Tennessee.

Under the guidance of Coach Thomas Morand, the Lady Bison and Bison Boys had success almost immediately. The Lady Bison won the District and Region Championships in 2003 and the Bison Boys won their first District Championship in 2005.

Both the Lady Bison and the Bison Boys teams have continued this early success over the last 20 years. The Lady Bison have won 8 District Championships, 9 Region Titles, and made 1 State Tournament appearance in 2008. The Bison Boys have won 11 District Championships, 8 Region Titles, and made 7 State Tournament appearances.

In 2017, the Bison Boys won their first State Championship with a 1-0 win over Houston. In 2018, the boys won their second state championship going back-to-back with a 3-0 win over Blackman in the finals.

At the end of the 2018 season, Coach Thomas Morand retired from coaching and the reins to the Bison soccer program were passed on to Coach Jeremy Cooke. Coach Cooke has continued to lead the program to successful seasons for both the boys and girls teams. The Bison Boys have continued to reach the State Tournament with a runner-up finish in 2019 and another appearance in the 2021 tournament.
