SCMS Bison Girls – Champions

The Station Camp Middle School Girls Soccer team finished an undefeated season with a 2-1 win over rival Ellis Middle in the Sumner County Championship game. The Bison Girls took the lead in the first half off of a goal from 8th grader Mallorie Springs. The Cougars capitalized on a free kick and tied the game at 1-1. Late in the 2nd half, Kinlee Wiggins put the Bison girls on top 2-1. Goalie, Audri Davis, made a great stop to preserve the win as the stingy Bison defense held off the final Cougar threat. The tournament MVP went to 6th grader Taylor Hahn and several Bison players were named to the All County Team.

Not to be outdone, the SCMS Bison JV Girls team also finished the season undefeated!! Thanks to all the coaches for a great season – Stephen Williams – HC Varsity, Lyle Lassiter – Asst Coach Varsity, and Jonathan Shields – HC JV!

The future certainly looks bright for SCHS girls soccer!!

Lady Bison Head West

The Station Camp Lady Bison traveled down I-40 for a weekend of games with Houston High School and Collierville High School. The weather certainly didn’t make it easy with wet field conditions all weekend.

In the first matchup with Houston, the Bison took the lead with a goal from Emrie Springs off of an assist from Ayden Wood. However, that would be the end of the scoring for the Bison. Houston would finish with 4 unanswered goals for the Mustang win.

Game two for the west TN trip against Collierville resulted in another loss on the weekend. After weather delays and a move to the turf field, Collierville won 3-0. JV lost 1-0.

Lady Bison welcome Mt Juliet to The Range
